New Iphone 3Gs

Well Apple has done it again!

The new Iphone 3Gs all kinds of new features well worth the upgrade for the Technologically demanding user!

I personally am shocked at the trashing around the negative feedback on the IPhone!

There has never been a phone that performed as smoothly and as stably as the IPhone 3g in my opinion. Those who complain most likely bought Nokia's, Blackberry's or a windows mobile attempt at a solution.

I personally am a 2 cell phone man I have an IPhone 3g for my personal life and a Samsung EPIX for my work life. The EPIX is a reliable phone, with many of the same features, as it sports the Windows mobile professional OS but smooth and user friendly it is not. with $50 of software designed "to make Windows mobile user friendly and efficient" it has become usable, barely.

Don't get me wrong if you want to spend time fighting notifications that block all other functions until you deal with them Then windows mobile does the trick, but if you get over 100 SMS's a day and over 2 hundred emails a day and spend about 6 hours a day making calls this can drive you bonkers....

The IPhone handles these issues with a streamlined interface that never gets in the way.

Now once we have got past the technical issues and the challenges from those who simply made the wrong choice, what is wrong with the IPhone 3Gs?

Many new features, Excellent camera, kickin new processor, a 32 gig option and Tons of new software features included. On top of that a free upgrade of many features for the existing 3g crowd.

So name another company that has done all that with a single cellphone next gen release.... I can't!

Windows Mobile devices are still stuck at 64 Mb with some finally having reached 128 Mb, like that is an upgrade? Apple proves that 128 Mb is simply put ridiculous!

No windows mobile device can say they have done that.

Same form factor as the old IPhone, same accessories, same software supported, and on top of all this significant increase in battery life.

What Cellphone manufacturer has gone so far for their customers?

Not Blackberry, every new phone is a completely new form factor. Most require different accessories and never has there been a blackberry that allows the revolutionary new features to be added for free to your existing device.

In closing I don't claim to be perfect nor to hold the only valid view point, but I do bring experience! I have owned 11 versions of windows Mobile, Pocket PC and Windows CE Os's; 2 Palm phones one running palm OS one running Windows Mobile 5 and 4 different blackberry devices.

In closing the winning that goes on when someone does it right is truly a sight to see in High tech.

Good Job Apple! finally someone is running a company with the customers experience as a focus. Please continue to drive the industry to new heights! It is truly appreciated.

New Music

Well a met a good friend for Coffee today and He gave me a birthday present.

Piles of new music HEHE!

It all started with the gift of a complete collection of the Depeche Mode singles. 42 cds in all Wicked man!

Then the weirdest thing happened we go to talking and the topic came back around to music as it usually does with the 2 of us.

and he says to me have you heard of this cool band (Hmmm what was it called LOL) No I say and the next thing you know we are digging through boxes of disks in his trunk in the Starbucks Parking lot.... I don't know if it is that I am listening to one of those disks now, Medeski Martin & Wood or not but the whole experience seems to me now to have felt like some weird 70's illicit deal in a parking lot LOL ( a Starski and Hutch moment LOL)

Well to that dear friend thanks for the new grooves many new thoughts have surfaced.

I challenge all who read this go look for something new.... make it a little off the wall. give it a try....

Night, time to crash but this just had to come out!

HMMM Title Not sure LOL

Well as I look around today and think on things I am faced with and attitudes I must over come.

The new beginning for our economy is here I can feel it, faint but it is there.

The reality we must face is that what we had was not sustainable what we need is not defined yet, but for sure it is possible to begin.

The Problem I see and want to address is this.... Remorse.

I do not expect nor do I want to see people feeling guilt over things that were possible and sustainable in the past, nor even for refusing to accept that things were not sustainable when we did know and continuing to ignorantly refuse to change.

But is it not possible to simply move forward? is remorse for the things lost that we should not have taken in the fist place cause us remorse?

I do not want to provide any answers but need to ask the question and welcome any thought.

I was impressed with the first picture of GM's new beginning by far not a reality yet but check it out! That is forward thinking.

What I like most about this add is no whining.....

My father used to tell me all the time that the worst thing you can do for someone is Pity them.

His exact quote was simply " Pity is an Insult"

And yes that applies to self pity too :-)

So hang tough and look forward. There is much to do and the time to do it is now.

I have to admit I am dying to get my hands on this tool!

Google has done it again! another great collaboration idea that makes me believe they have the best team of developers anywhere!

Ultimately This blog is a stop gap for the inevitable use of WAVE by me every day!

To get things started...

What got me going was a need to ruminate and express thoughts on life the universe and all things that plague the human spirit.

Positive energy is hard to find these days and here will be the beginning of finding it.

Where did it go?

Financial disasters corporate failures, worry over incomes and loss of way of life, we know it is so serious a treat we seem to worry our days away LOL

Well not this fellow! The thoughts are gelling we will see if they unfold as my heart hopes they will.
